The Real Property Strategies team has a combined 70 years of real estate experience. In addition to owning and managing commercial real estate practices, they have designed and developed much of the material currently being taught through Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute courses to real estate practitioners. Additionally, they have developed copyrighted analytical electronic tools for analyzing property acquisition, ownership, and disposition options for users and investors. This unique combination of practice and educational experience ensures that their clients and students have access to the latest and best in commercial real estate thinking.

Joseph Fisher
Joe is president of Fisher Investment Real Estate, LLC, in Indianapolis, a company specializing in real estate investment, development and consulting. Joe has been active in the real estate business since 1974. Among his experiences, Joe has developed and owned single tenant “build to suit” distribution facilities across the Midwest and in the Southeast United States. He has also developed and owned industrial, retail and office properties in Indiana and Florida. He has syndicated equity capital to fund real estate investments and performed property and asset management functions for development portfolio. Joe’s company has acted as real estate entity for major corporation real estate acquisitions and he has advised clients regarding acquisition, ownership and disposition of real estate. Among Joe’s clients are corporations such as FedEx Corporation, Eli Lilly and Company, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and JP Morgan Chase Bank. On the education front, Joe has been a part of the CCIM faculty since 1980 and has received a number of honors for his CCIM education work, including being selected as the Robert L. Ward Instructor of the Year and the Victor L. Lyon Award for outstanding contributions to the CCIM education program. Joe served as the 2007 CCIM Institute President and is currently a CCIM Institute Senior Instructor. In addition to delivering real estate education in the U.S., China, Korea, the U.K., Poland and Russia, he has spoken at numerous real estate conferences in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Joe received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
